The beautiful wine adventure of Cascina Roccalini begins in 2004, when Paolo Veglio, a young and experienced winemaker, begins to make wine on his own with the help of Dante Scaglione (winemaker for decades a Bruno Giacosa). Today Paolo produces just over 10,000 bottles a year: a small and artisanal production faithful to a personal and very traditional style. Since 1993 the grapes were given to the famous producer Bruno Giacosa, who considered the grapes of the Roccalini cru among the best in the whole Barbaresco area. This is a single Cru in Barbaresco which give to the winery the name. The Roccalini wines faithfully reflect the territory from which they come and are characterized by a genuine and traditional method: they stand out in the panorama of the Langhe wines. Tones of strawberries and violets brightened by fresh white pepper and chamomille. Great structure, rich tannin, and savory notes. One world Elegant.
