Tanguy Perrault and Anne-Cécile Jadaud established Domaine Perrault Jadaud in 2008, starting with just 2.5 hectares. They recently acquired a new vineyard planted in 1961 and now have 8 hectares of organically farmed vines, mainly chenin, near the village of Chancay in the north-eastern part of Vouvray.
Tanguy and Anne-Cecile’s work is meticulous. Yields never exceed 30hl/ha, harvest is manual, with multiple passes through the terraced vineyards so grapes are only picked at the desired ripeness. Fermentations happen with native yeasts in barrel (300 liters) and over a long period of time in a cold cellar made of tuffeau limestone.
