Pineau d’Aunis from forty year old vines, fermented on skins as whole bunches for three weeks and pressed to barrels for fifteen months of rest. Compact and elegant, it displays none of the trappings of such a year, with neat tannins framing layers of dark fruit, liquorice and spice.
