A blend of Altesse and Jacquere, 3 weeks on skins. A very complex orange wine. Powerfully mineral, with preserved citrus, alpine herbs, and pulpy tannin.
After studying oenology in Bordeaux and working with the masters of natural wines Thierry Allemand in Cornas and Bruno Schueller in Alsace, Jean-Yves Péron decided to return to Savoy in 2004 and set up his own project in the village of Chevaline. Here he focusses on sloping micro-plots that are cultivated with minimal intervention and maximum dedication to make wines that showcase the high quality of Savoie wines.
