Notes from Tim and Monique:
A 50/50 mix of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. This is our red which really typifies and expresses our high, cool elevation and the style of wine that we wish to make on our farm. We take an equal portion of whole bunches, de-stemmed fruit and juice then ferment it all together as a big juicy soup, but not for too long. Its a youthful, energetic expression from us, the grapes and the land. A year-round table red taking you from winter to spring being drank at room temperature while summer presents an option to drink it cooled/ slightly chilled. As the vintages develop the fruits in this wine become even more concentrated, its flavour and structure all tightly held together by its electric acidity and minerality.
