Marc grew up in South Australia not far from the Barossa Valley. His wine journey began in the Adelaide Plains/Barossa Valley before relocating to the Yarra Valley. Marc was the first foreign stagiaire to train under Charles and Eric Rousseau at Domaine Armand Rousseau in Gevrey Chambertin. Charles then helped organise a place at Domaine de la Romanee Conti the following harvest. Being lucky enough to work with some of the most revered French winemakers over a decade. This taught him to question and challenge everything you do in the vineyard and cellar.

Aged on fine lees for 12 months in 500l puncheons. The wine is then racked to tank for 6 months before being prepared for bottling. The palate is surprisingly concentrated, delivering a core of citrus fruit and mineral energy, the acid is vivid yet harmonious – carrying the wine through, to a long, persistent finish that echoes with saline nuance and lingering candied citrus peel.
