Established in 2011 by Benjamin Tourbillon, Domaine Tourbillon is a family-owned winery situated in the picturesque village of Lagnes, just 5 minutes from L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The estate’s origins trace back to Benjamin’s grandfather, who cultivated five hectares of vineyards in Gigondas, with grapes delivered to the local cooperative until 2010. Building upon this heritage, Benjamin founded the domaine, expanding its holdings to include vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Plan de Dieu, and Côtes du Rhône.
In 2018, Benjamin’s brother, Alexandre Tourbillon, joined the estate as a co-owner, further strengthening the family’s commitment to producing high-quality wines. The winery’s architecture seamlessly blends contemporary design with traditional elements, reflecting the estate’s dedication to both innovation and respect for its rich heritage.
Domaine Tourbillon’s vineyards benefit from the unique terroirs of the Southern Rhône Valley, including the red clay and rolled pebble soils of Plan de Dieu, which contribute to the wines’ depth and complexity.
